Javad Kazemian Ph.D.


Javad Kazemian is a Ph.D. graduate of geophysics program from Western University. He is a seismologist working on the physics of earthquakes with a focus on cellular automata models of earthquake faults. With a 5+ years of experience in academia including one year as a postdoctoral fellow at University of Alberta, 2 years as a researcher, continued with another 2 years as an assistant professor at University of Tehran, Iran, he is currently working as a postdoctoral associate at Western University.
