Ali Mahani, Ph.D. P.Geo.

Ali is a seismologist with more than 15 years of research and consulting experience in various seismological investigations and earthquake studies. He holds a B.Sc. in geology and an M.Sc. in geophysics, both from Iran. He graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Ph.D. in geophysics in 2013 and continued as a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Calgary until 2015. He founded Mahan Geophysical Consulting Inc. in 2014 and has worked with clients in both the public and private sectors since then. He has presented his works in more than 80 peer-reviewed papers, technical reports, invited talks, and conference presentations. Ali is a professional geoscientist licensee from Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia since 2016.
